On average you'd expect to lose the expected cost shown while clearing each bonus. It's an average across many players, not a prediction.
How the calculator works
Formulas
Bonus = min(deposit × match %, max bonus)
Total wagering = wagering × (bonus or deposit + bonus)
Real bets = total wagering ÷ game contribution
Expected loss = real bets × (1 − RTP)
Expected value = bonus − expected loss
Expected value is an average across many players. Any single session can finish well above or below it — that is variance. Use the result to compare offers, not to predict your own outcome.
Two levers you control
Play higher-RTP slots and stick to 100%-contributing games. Moving from a 94% to a 97% slot halves the expected cost of wagering.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How do you calculate wagering requirements?
Multiply the amount the requirement applies to by the multiplier. A $100 bonus with 30x wagering on the bonus needs $3,000 of bets. If it applies to deposit plus bonus ($200), you need $6,000.
How does game contribution affect wagering?
Only the contributing percentage of each bet counts. If blackjack contributes 10%, a $10 hand counts as $1, so you need to bet ten times as much to clear the same requirement.
Is a casino bonus worth claiming?
Roughly, a bonus has positive expected value when the bonus amount is greater than total wagering multiplied by the house edge of the games you play. This calculator does that sum for you.
What RTP should I use?
Use the RTP of the slot you plan to play, shown in its info screen. Most modern slots are between 94% and 97%. If unsure, 96% is a sensible average.
